PURPOSE:To adopt a single side separating system without complicating a device, by providing an overinclination preventive mechanism of a fixing roller. CONSTITUTION:A roller overinclination preventive mechanism consists of an inter-roller gap holding member X provided on both sides of a roller, and this holding member X is placed so that it pinches the end part of side plates 13, 14, and controls a distance between the side plates 13, 14 for supporting both an upper roller 11 and a lower roller 12, at a certain distance or less. The upper and lower legs of the gap holding member X between the rollers prevent the side plates 13, 14 from opening at a certain distance or more, and correct unuiform pressure applied to a transfer material. |
