<p>PURPOSE:To decontaminate the inside face and to facilitate the maintenance by providing a liquid supply nozzle and an insoluble residue discharge tube with flange joints freely attachable to and detachable from a casing. CONSTITUTION:At the time of overhaul of a centrifugal clarifier, a rotating body 6, a casing 13, a receiving vessel 14, a liquid supply nozzle 10, etc., are first washed and decontaminated. In this work, a clarifying liquid discharge tube 16 and an insoluble residue discharge tube 16 are closed by valves 22 and 24 or the like, and the casing 13 is filled up with chemical decontaminating liquid to powerfully perform chemical decontamination. With respect to overhaul of the centrifugal clarifier of this chemical decontaminating liquid, a driving mechanism on a shielding body is detached and a pedestal is removed, and thereafter, the rotating body 6 is suspended together with plugs of the shielding body, and flange joints 19, 20, 21, and 23 connected to respective nozzles are decomposed, and the casing 13 is detached. Thus, the inside face of the centrifugal clarifier is decontaminated by the decontaminating work, and a contaminated spot is removed.</p> |
