摘要 |
The invention relates to a corrosion-resistant, high-strength cold-working steel containing the following alloying elements: carbon: from 0.10 to 0.80% by weight silicon: from 0.20 to 1.00% by weight manganese: from 0.20 to 0.70% by weight phosphorous: max. 0.025% by weight sulphur: max. 0.025% by weight chromium: from 10.0 to 20.0% by weight molybdenum: from 0.5 to 4.0% by weight nickel: max. 0.50% by weight nitrogen: from 0.20 to 0.70% by weight vanadium: from 0.01 to 0.10% by weight. remainder is iron and usual impurities resulting from steel production, with the sum of the alloying elements carbon and nitrogen being less than 1.0% by weight and the ratio being between 0.3 and 2.0. This steel is particularly suitable for the production of tools for plastics processing, cutting tools such as razor blades, knives or surgical instruments, ballbearings (balls and rings) which come into contact with corrosive media, such as bearings which are used in the food industry or bearings for motor vehicle construction which in winter come into contact with deicing salts, and also tools for food processing.
