PURPOSE:To improve a performance of combustion by a method wherein a heat exchanging tank in which a gas processed and a discharging gas from a combustion chamber are heat exchanged to each other is constituted such that a plurality of chambers for storing heat exchaning solid material therein are arranged side by side in a lateral direction, and both gases are selectively fed to the heat exchanger device. CONSTITUTION:A burner 2 is arranged at a central part in an outer cylindrical wall with being faced downwardly, a red heat net 4 is arranged at an outer circumference of the porous cylinder 3 made of refractory material to constitute the combustion part A. A heat exchanger tank 7 is cooperatively arranged below the combustion part A. The heat exchanger tank 7 is constructed such that a space between the inner cylinder 8 and the outer wall is divided into a plurality of storing chambers 10 by radial partition walls 9, heat-resistant porous plates 11, 11' are arranged vertically to make a fence form, and heat exchanging solid material 12 is filled in each of the chambers 10. A valve chamber 15 is cooperatively arranged below the heat exchanging tank 7 to store a rotary change-over valve 17. The combustioned gas from the supplying pipe 21 is selectively fed to each of the storing chambers 10 under a rotation of the valve 17, and in turn the discharged gas passed through the storing chamber 10 is discharged from the conduit 22. |
