发明名称 OPTICAL PULSE WIDTH CORRECTING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To correct an optical pulse width outputted from a laser diode to a desired value at high accuracy by inputting the mean power value of a measured optical output, and controlling the pulse width of a pulse width signal generating means and a repeated frequency. CONSTITUTION:A pulse width signal generating means 1, a laser diode 2, a pulse transmitting circuit 3, an optical output measuring means 4, and a control means 5 are provided. The optical output measuring means 4 measures the mean value of the light power outputted by the laser diode 2. The control mans 5 controls the pulse width and the repeated frequency of a pulse width signal from the pulse width signal generating means 1 so that the mean value of the light power may be the prescribed mean power value taking a pulse transmission error into consideration. Thus the optical pulse width outputted from the laser diode 2 can be corrected to the desired value at high accuracy.
