PURPOSE:To enable control of transferring quantity easily, by a method wherein compressed air is supplied to a blast tube part of an ejector and the compressed air is supplied as a transferring medium, in a supplying fuel, such as pulverized coal to a burner of an ignition furnace of a sintering machine. CONSTITUTION:After carrying out operation of absorption and exhaust, pulverized coal 2 in a reservoir 1 is supplied to three burners of an ignition furnace of a sintering machine by making use of compressed air as a transferring medium, as the compressed air is supplied to injectors 4a, 4b and 4c which are connected with extension tubes 3a, 3b and 3c respectively. Pressure of the compressed air and absorption and exhaust quantity of the pulverized coal containing more than 80% of the pulverized coal of less than 200 meshes are proportional to each other, then transferring quantity of the pulverized coal 2 to each of burners of the ignition furnace of the sintering machine can be adjusted according to signals set on pressure adjusting meters 10a, 10b and 10c. With this, even if a level of the pulverized coal 2 in the reservoir 1 is varied the transferring quantity of the pulverized coal to the burners of the ignition furnace of the sintering machine is not varied and stabilized supply becomes possible. |
