<p>The present invention provides an antistatic composition comprising a binder, a cyclic phosphazene, and a salt that complexes with the cyclic phosphazene. The cyclic phosphazene has general formula (I) wherein x is 3 or 4. R1 and R5 each independently represents the formula -(R2-O)nR3 wherein n is 0 to 50. R2 is alkyl of from 2 to 4 carbon atoms, having from 2 to 4 carbon atoms in the straight chain between oxygen atoms, and R3 is alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, haloalkyl, haloalkenyl, haloalkynyl, phenyl, substituted aromatic, amine, or thio of from 1 to 18 carbon atoms, W, and X, each independently represents (II) wherein R6, R7, and R8 each independently represents H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, haloalkyl, haloalkenyl, haloalkynyl, phenyl, substituted aromatic, amine, or thio of from 1 to 18 carbon atoms.</p> |
