摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the switching shock of a high flow quantity side supercharger especially in the high load area by setting the switching term in a sequentially turbo on the basis of the uniform intake air quantity, while dislocating the switching term the higher the load, the closer to the engine high rotation side. CONSTITUTION:A primary turbo supercharger 104 to be operated in the low flow quantity side of the intake air quantity and a secondary turbo supercharger 106 to be operated in the high flow quantity side are provided in parallel with intake passages 110, 112 and exhaust passages 102, 103. An exhaust cut valve 123 is provided in the exhaust passage 103 in which a secondary side turbine 107 is located, and while an intake cut valve 132 is provided in the downstream side of a secondary blower of the intake passage 112 in which the blower 113 is located. The operation/unoperation condition of the supercharger 106 is switched by opening/closing these cut valves 123, 132, and this switching term is performed on the basis of the uniform intake air quantity so that the higher the engine load is, the closer to the engine high rotation side the term is dislocated.
