<p>PURPOSE:To make the voltage to the ground at the opposite terminals of a switch equal to that in an actual loading test by inserting a series circuit of a plurality of capacitors into a voltage source circuit and by grounding one of nodes thereof. CONSTITUTION:Capacitors 41 to 43 are connected to form a series circuit and the node of the capacitors 42 and 43 is grounded. A breaker 5 to be tested and an auxiliary breaker 6 are made so as to let a composite current I (IL + IH) flow beforehand through the breaker 5 to be tested, and the breaker 5 to be tested and the auxiliary breaker 6 are opened simultaneously. A voltage devided by the capacitors 41 to 43 is impressed as the voltage to the ground on the opposite terminals of the breaker 5 to be tested. As a result, the potential V1 of the upper-side terminal of the breaker 5 to be tested turns to be a superposition of voltages VS and V2 in relation to the grounding potential. Accordingly, a voltage V is impressed between the opposite terminals of the breaker 5 to be tested, while one of terminals voltages turns to be a voltage in an actual loading test.</p> |
