PURPOSE:To enable a user to confirm exposure information during automatic zooming operation by performing exposure arithmetic at a zooming stop position in advance according to focal length information which is already obtained before the automatic focusing operation. CONSTITUTION:A 2nd arithmetic means 55 performs the exposure arithmetic at a 1st position as the zooming stop position in advance according to the focal length information which is already obtained before the automatic zooming operation. Then a display means 53 displays the exposure information at the zooming stop position during the automatic zooming operation. When a release switch, etc., is turned on during the automatic zooming operation to quit the automatic zooming operation, a 2nd arithmetic means 55 performs exposure arithmetic for a quitting position and the display of the display means 53 is so switched as to display the exposure information. Consequently, the user can confirm the exposure information during the automatic zooming operation. |
