PURPOSE:To compute the feature quantity of an intermediate layer to the view point of three-dimensional shape data by using two or more than two Z-buffers which are working areas for hidden surface erasing. CONSTITUTION:When the three-dimensional shape data are displayed as a two-dimensional picture, by dividing a Z value to be recorded to plural Z-buffers 30 which are the working areas for erasing the hidden surface Z values respectively corresponding depth directions are recorded to the surface of a body at a buffer 31, the part from the front surface to side surface of the body at a buffer 32, the side surface of the body and the front surface of the heart at a buffer 33 and the side surface of the body and the side surface of the heart at a buffer 34, the heart at a buffer 35 and the side and back surfaces at a buffer 36. Here, by taking out the value of the Z-buffer 34, feature quantity 38 in the parts of the body and heart is computed. Thus, the feature quantity of the intermediate layer to the view point of the three-dimensional shape data can be computed. |
