<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operation function by transmitting each function with a three-dimensional motion detected by a gyro incorporated in a remote controller main body, a signal obtained from a switch which detects the grip of the main body, and a select switch input. CONSTITUTION:The remote controller main body is provided with a gyro 1, a grip switch 3, and an item selecting switch 4. The gyro 1 outputs x-axis, y-axis, and z-axis acceleration components to a microcomputer 2, and the microcomputer 2 outputs information of acceleration components from the remote controller when the grip switch 3 of the remote controller main body is turned on (firmly gripped). Consequently, movement of the remote controller main body is interlocked with movement of a selected part of the screen of a television or the like; and when an objective position is selected, the final selection is performed by depressing the select switch 4, continuously depressing it, or depressing and moving it. Thus, an operator can operate the remote controller switching seeing the remote controller main body while seeing the screen.</p> |
