PURPOSE:To enhance photoreceptivity by laminating the first layer made of an amorphous material and the second photoconductivelayer in this order from a substrate side on the substrate having main peaks overlapped by subsidiary peaks in a sectional form at a prescribed position. CONSTITUTION:The photoreceptive layer is formed in multilayer structure by laminating the first layer made of an amorphous material contg. Si and Ge and the second photoconductive layer made of an amorphous material contg. Si in this order from the substrate side on the substrate having main peaks overlapper with subsidiary peaks in a sectional form at a prescribed position. The photoreceptive layer contains one of O, C, and N, thus permitting an interference fringe pattern to be not observed at all by unaided eyes and satisfactory electrophotographic characteristics to be exhibited. |
