PURPOSE:The titled apparatus, having an adjusting drafting part on the upstream side of a main drafting part and sliver thickness sensing apparatuses on the downstream side of the main drafting part and the upstream side of the adjusting drafting part, and capable of correcting the unevenness of the sliver thickness in a wide range even in spinning at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:An adjusting drafting part 19 consisting of a pair of front rollers 20 and a pair of rear rollers 21 is provided on the upstream side of a main drafting part 8[consisting of front rollers (8a), second rollers (8b), back rollers (8c), etc.]in a drawing frame. The pair of the front rollers 20 are rotated synchronously with the main drafting part 8, and the pair of the rear rollers 21 are made rotatable at a variable speed. A sliver thickness sensing apparatus 12 is provided on the downstream side of the main drafting part 8, and the rotational speed of the pair of rear rollers 21 is controlled by feeding back the sensed values of the sensing apparatus 12. A sliver thickness sensing apparatus 29 is provided on the upstream side of the adjusting drafting part 19 to control the pair of rear rollers 21 by the sensed values of the sliver sensing apparatus 29 by the feed forward method. |
