<p>The present invention concerns light sources. The light source, according to the inventiion, is essentially characterized in that it comprises two potential terminals (1, 2) a transformer coil having a primary with two windings (9, 12) and a secondary (16), a transistor (300), whereby the voltage terminal (1) is in turn connected to the transistor base (22), whose collector (23) is connected to the primary coil's second winding and whose emitter (24) is connected to the terminal (2), whereby a current capacitor (25) connects the second winding (12) to the terminal (2), a potentiometer (400) connects the terminal (1) to the capacitor (25), at the common point between the capacitor and the second winding, and whereby a sealed enclosure (19) with two electrodes (20, 21) contains a gas, said electrodes being connected to the secondary coil winding (16). Application: the invention may be used advantgeously in lighting of all types, industry, publicity, the home and the like.</p> |
