A measuring device for trace measurements in gases, especially air, using a small measuring tube which is arranged in a holder and sealed at the connecting ends into which a measuring gas can be introduced of a predetermined volume, whereby a seat (5) is provid-ed in a valve block (2) for one end (6) of the measuring tube (7) The valve block (2) serves for the supply of the measuring gas. The other end of the measuring tube (7) connects to a measuring balloon (18), whilst the design of the holder (15) is such that the end (6) of the measuring tube (7) facing the valve block (3) cont-acts the seat (5) with a predetermined pressure and that for a certain pressure of the introduced measuring gas, the-balloon (18) is filled, whilst the end (6) of the measuring tube (7) lifts from the seat (5). A slanted surface (20) is provided between seat (5) and value block (2) to facilitate the movement of end (6) of the measuring tube away from the seat (5). The pressure of end (6) against seat (5) is provided by a spring (17). USE/ADVANTAGE - The measuring device can be employed for trace measurements in gases, partic in air. The construction of the device is simple, the device does not required much space, is easy to operate and provides seliable results.
