PURPOSE:To enable an air conditioner to be installed in a narrow space and to improve the efficiency of operation by a method wherein several fan blocks are arranged at upper right and left portions of the air conditioner in such a way as their air sucking direction or air feeding direction may easily be varied. CONSTITUTION:U-shaped air blowing passages 3 and 3' are formed at an inner central part of a machine body 1 through a partition plate 2. A heat exchanger 4, a humidifier 5 and a control valve 6 are arranged in one-way passage 3 of the U-shaped air blowing passages. Several mechanisms such as a medium performance or hepatite filter 7, an auto-roll filter 8 and the like are arranged within the other air blowing passage 3'. U-shaped air blowing passages 3 and 3 are arranged in parallel to each other on the upper part of the machine body 1, an air receiving port 12 and an air feeding port 13 are connected with the air passages, respectively. A blower F is installed in the air receiving port 12 and the air feeding port 13 in such a way as their air sucking direction and air feeding direction may easily be varied and at the same time each of fan blocks A and B opened to a blowing port 10 or a suction port 11 is arranged in any direction in response to its installing location and object and the like and then the blowing port 10 and the suction port 11 are connected with a duct D. |
