<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of an abnormal action when an instantaneous power failure is generated and to improve a reliability with simple constitution by setting the instantaneous outage detecting time of a main power device shorter than the instantaneous outage detecting time of an auxiliary power device. CONSTITUTION:The instantaneous power failure detecting time of a main power device 5 is set shorter than the instantaneous power failure detecting time of an auxiliary power device 6. When the instantaneous power failure is generated, the main power device 5 knows the generation of the power failure by a timing earlier than that of the auxiliary power device 6, and the generation is reported to a CPU 1, a control part 2 of magnetic disk devices 3 and a main memory 4, respectively. The control part 2 executes a prescribed processing prepared for the time of the instantaneous power failure is generated such as a data protection and a system retreat processing while the machine driving systems of the magnetic disk devices 3 are surely operated. Thus, with the simple constitution, the abnormal action of the machine driving systems can be prevented beforehand when the instantaneous power failure is generated, and the reliability can be improved.</p> |
