PURPOSE:To stably obtain corrected image data suitable for a surrounding image by effectively utilizing the image data before correction and executing the correction of the image. CONSTITUTION:When a cursor is moved in a desired position on a display screen by operating a mouse 5, a CPU 8 obtains an image correction area on the display screen from image correction area information 12, which are stored in a main memory 6, based on cursor position information 11. After that, the CPU 8 activates a logical arithmetic part 7 and executes prescribed logical arithmetic for each bit from the image data in the image correction area and hatching pattern data 14 stored in the main memory 6. The new obtained image data are respectively replaced with the image data of the main memory 6 and image data in the correction area on a bit map memory 2 and the correction of the image is completed. Thus, the corrected image data suitable for the surrounding image can be stably obtained. |
