PURPOSE:To alter the attitude of an internal-combustion engine to be supported accurately by providing a front end support at the rear end of a cylinder shaft and a rear end support free to turn about the longitudinal axis center while supporting the rear end of the internal-combustion engine on a rear end bracket. CONSTITUTION:When supported with both front and rear end supports 17 and 29, the internal-combustion engine 50 is in a vertical attitude and a spline hole 36 of an intermediate shaft 35 is opposed to a spline shaft 61. After the setting is done so, as a cylinder shaft 5 or the like is moved to the rear end side against a spring 24, first, a positioning projection 40 is fitted into a positioning hole 56 to match the position and a pin 57 is engaged with a mating hole 39 to make the intermediate shaft 35 interlock the main shaft 54. In the engagement thereof, a retaining pin 12 is engaged with one retainer hole 15 to get a large- diameter cylinder section 18 abutted on the front of the internal-combustion engine 50. Then, a bolt 20 is screwed down on a threaded hole 51 to integrate the cylinder shaft 5 with the internal-combustion engine 50. |
