<p>Compounds having digitalis-like activity are isolated from dried mammalian plasma. They may have the formula: R1-CH=CH- @@-CH2-@@-(CH2)n-COOH (I) wherein R1 represents a C1-6 straight or branched alkyl radical and n is an integer of from 2 to 11, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. or; <CHEM> wherein R represents an alkylenecarboxy, alkylenecarbonyloxy-alkyl, carbonyloxy-alkyl or alkyleneoxy-alkylene-carbonyloxyalkyl radical.</p> |
