PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive disk cartridge by providing a 1st opening opened at all times over a moving range of a pickup to a bottom of a container part and providing a 2nd opening part always opened on a cover part so as to be inserted with a pressing means of a disk. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft of a drive mechanism driving a disk to be accommodated is inserted to a bottom of an accommodated part 12 and a 1st opening part 18 is provided, which is always opened over a moving range of a data read and/or write pickup. Moreover, a 2nd opening part 30 is provided on a cover part 22, which is always opened so as to be inserted with a press means pressing a disk toward the rotary shaft and provided with a drive mechanism to a part corresponding to the middle of the accommodated disk. Thus, no shutter is provided to the accommodated part of the disk cartridge and no press part is provided to the cover, then the disk cartridge is formed inexpensively. |
