PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a crack from an edge, in a mold wherein a metal plate is planted in the molding surface thereof, by folding back the free end of the metal plate. CONSTITUTION:The free end 5 of a metal plate 4 is bent to be folded back toward a molding surface and an expanded thick wall part is formed. In the case, the folded-back part is closely adhered to a part not folded back each other. When a tire is prepared using this mold, the edge of a sipe in the depth direction thereof is expanded corresponding to the sum thickness of the folded- back part and part not folded back of the metal plate and, therefore, the concentrating of stress to the vicinity of said edge can be avoided. |
