A liquid-crystal polyester resin composition is improved in releasing from a mold and comprises (A) 100 parts by weight of a liquid-crystal polyester resin and (B) 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of a fatty acid ester represented by the general formula: (1) wherein at least one of X1, X2, X3 and X4 is a group and the others thereof are each -H, -OH, or an alkyl or aryl group and R is an alkyl or alkenyl group having 2 to 30 carbon atoms.
