PURPOSE:To suppress self-charge and obtain a satisfactory battery performance by forming a positive electrode by a conductive polymer, and forming at least the whole surface made in contact with the positive electrode of a positive electrode collecting plate by metal titanium. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode 4 is formed of a conductive polymer, and at least the whole surface made in contact with the positive electrode 4 of a positive electrode collecting plate 1 is formed of metal titanium. Thus, even if the potential difference between both electrodes 4, 5 is reached to a high voltage of 3.5V or more at the time of charging, the conductive polymer maintains the oxidized state. Hence, a self-charge caused by the conversion of the conductive polymer into the reduction state under high voltage is significantly suppressed, and a lithium secondary battery having excellent battery characteristics such as discharge capacity and open-circuit voltage can be obtained. |
