PURPOSE:To reduce the weight without loosing battery characteristics by forming a hole or recessed part on a cooling plate in which a cooler is buried. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of holes 9 are formed in a cooling plate 8 in which a cooler 7 is buried. Namely, as the cooling plate 8 is made of a black lead carbon plate, it has extremely high heat conductivity and electric conductivity. Thus, if the contact area of the cooling plate 8 is reduced to some degree, the increase in heat resistance and electric resistance is little. Hence, the formation of the holes 9 in the part without the buried cooler 7 of the cooling plate 8 hardly have an effect on the characteristics of a fuel cell such as raise in cell temperature and increase in voltage loss of the fuel cell, and the weight of the cooling plate 8 can be reduced. The formation of channels or recessed part such as hollow also provides the same effect. |
