The trailer (1) has a receiving tank (2) fixed on a chassis (3) for receiving a packaging product, and a prehension unit i.e. turnnion (9) placed on side panels (25, 26) of the tank for providing prehenion of the trailer. Interlocking units for interlocking the trailer with another trailer includes an interlock opening (12) co-operated with the prehension unit during an interlocking operation. The chassis is formed by metallic profiles (30) connected together, so as to form a hollow frame whose shape and dimension are similar to shape and dimension of a bottom (21) of the tank. An independent claim is also included for a method for collection of a packaging product to be transported to treatment, recycling or recovery units in the trailer.
