The lock (10) has a rotor (14) comprising series of radial drillings (34) emerging in an axial key passage way, where the drillings receive coded embossing pistons (36). The passageway receives a coded key (12) for cooperating with the pistons. The drillings respectively pass through the radial orifices (46) for ensuring cooperation of the pistons with pins (48) when the key is introduced in the passageway. A stator includes two parts (16, 18) forming a sleeve and jacket, respectively, where the part (18) made of metallic material is inserted inside the part (16) made of plastic material.
