PURPOSE:To obtain insectproof fiber having excellent adherence and durability by adhering insectproof agent having sustained releasing repellent effect made to microcapsule and having specific half-life and/or drug having insecticidal effect on fiber together with resin. CONSTITUTION:An insectproof agent having sustained releasing repellent effect made to microcapsule and having a half-life of active ingredient of at least 30 days under the condition of 20 deg.C temperature and 65% RH humidity and/or a drug having insecticidal effect (e.g. sustained releasing unpleasant insect- repellent agent obtained by forming microcapsule of organic amide compound with water-insoluble substance and/or drug having insecticidal effect, etc.) is fixed to fiber with resin to afford the insectproof fiber. Repellent of insect or insecticide is made to microcapsule and fixed to fiber, then the drug becomes to sustained releasing, thus durability of the effect is able to be kept for a long period of time. |
