PURPOSE:To obtain the displacement from the counted value simply and directly, in the displacement measurement, by performing interruption by a detecting signal of a mark which is moved at an equal speed, and counting the program during a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:A disk 5 having the straight line mark 6 is rotated at the equal speed, and the mark is detected by sensors 7 and 8, The interruption is performed by the detected signal of the sensor 7, thereby starting the program. The interruption is performed by the detected signal of the sensor 8, thereby stopping program. The program is counted at the time point 1/2 the predetermined (n) clock cycles for the first one count. Thereafter the progral is counted every (n) clock cycle. When the rotary speed of the disk and the clock cycle are adequately set, the displacement 0 is directly obtained from the counted value. Furthermore, the program to be inserted can be arbitrary, and other works can be performed during the counting. |
