PURPOSE:To enable the title paper passing device in a rotary printing machine to be simply easily handled with a low running cost at a low manufacturing cost by a continuous conveying material transferring means wherein a continuous conveying material is transferred from one side movable belt of the adjacent movable belts to the other side movable belt by pushing a belt grasping member of a paper continuous conveying material in a thickness direction of the movable belt. CONSTITUTION:Firstly a start part of web paper W is left in a base part 11 of a paper continuous conveying material 1 and a movable belt B1 is grasped with belt grasping members 12, 12. Successively a phase of the movable belt B1 is displaced by operating a belt driving means. The paper conveying material 1 conveys continuously the web paper W and transfers passing it through a guide path. When the paper conveying material 1 approaches a position at which it is transferred from the movable belt B1 to a movable belt B2, the belt driving means is stopped by a detection signal, and a continuous conveying material transferring means 2 pushes open ends of the belt grasping member 12, 12 of the paper continuous conveying material 1 along a thick direction of the movable belt B1, B2. A top of the belt grasping members 12, 12 is displaced by the thickness of the movable belt B1, B2, and is located at a rear side of the other movable belt B2. Thereby, the top of the belt grasping members 12, 12 is grasped with the other movable belt B2, and the paper conveying material 1 can be transferred. |
