MACHINE FOR MAKING CONTINUOUS STRIP STUCK INTO CORRUGATED SHAPE

PURPOSE: To execute corrugation forming of a strip stock by arranging a sensor measuring a length of a corrugated stock and a control mechanism responding to the measured length in an apparatus controlling a length of a strip stock. CONSTITUTION: A controller 44 consists of an operator input mechanism 56, a storage device 56 and a micro processor base control circuit 60. The control circuit 60 stops a motor 50 and actuates a cutting mechanism 40 when a running length of a corrugated strip stock to be fed to the cutting mechanism 40 is measured with a resolver 54/a roller 46 and the measured length corresponds to a programmed length as a sequence stored in the storage device 58. Thus, the machine has the functions in which the roller 46 feeds/stops the corrugated strip stock to the cutting mechanism 40 and a length of the running strip stock is measured through the sensor 54.
