PURPOSE:To detect the generation of abnormality in an image recorder instantaneously by comparing a sound or vibrations detected in the device with a sound or vibrations stored. CONSTITUTION:A microphone 39 is connected to an A/D converter 40 and a power integrator 41, the power integrator 41 is bonded with a comparator 44 or the comparator 44 through a memory 43 by a switch 42, and the comparator 44 is connected to a CPU. The CPU receives the signal of the comparator 44, and controls an operator panel. An output through the microphone 39, the A/D converter 40 and the power integrator 41 of a normal sound in the device at the time of one recording and a normal sound in the device at the time of continuous recording is stored while the switch 42 is directed upward and the time of printing start is used as a starting point on the factory shipment of a device. When a power supply is turned ON, the switch 42 of an abnormality detector is changed over to the lower side, and the sounds stored and a second measured are compared by the comparator 44. The abnormality, etc. of the inside of the device can be detected instantaneously, and the drive of the device is stopped, thus preventing various trouble being generated. |
