PURPOSE:To prevent the tilt of a machine body and permit the stable work by setting the grounded parts of the supporting legs stepwise to a nearly equal height by the signal supplied from a stroke quantity detecting means on the supporting legs in the extension and contraction in the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:On the turning floor 5 of a multileg traveling machine 3, two supporting legs 7 are erected on one side, and one supporting leg 7 is erected on the other side. The supporting leg 7 consists of an extension rod 15 which can be extended and contracted in the horizontal direction and a grounded part 9 installed onto the first, second, and the third supporting cylinders 7a, 7b, and 7c which can be extended and contracted in the vertical direction, and the supporting cylinders 7a-7c are extended and contracted by a hydraulic device. A supporting leg 13 consists of an extension rod 15, the first and the second supporting cylinders 17 and 19, and a grounded part 21 which contacts the ground surface W. A stroke detecting means 31 for detecting the extension stroke quantity of the supporting cylinders 17 and 19 is installed onto each supporting leg B, and the grounded parts of the supporting legs are set on an equal line. |
