PURPOSE:To improve the design of a peripheral part by removing an excessive part of a lower part along a periphery of a mold pad for thickness build-up, forming thereby a flexible deformed part and making the mold pad for thickness build-up and a core material on the same surface by making the flexible deformed part following the surface of the core material when the core material and a skin material are integrally pressed. CONSTITUTION:An automotive door trim 10 is constituted of a core material 11 formed in such a manner that an arm rest part 10a and a door waist part 10 are expanded to the inside of a room while the core material has a necessary curved shape, a mold pad 12 for thickness build-up and a skin material 13 covering an outer surface. On the mold pad 12 for thickness build-up set on the arm rest part 10a, a supporting member 14 is monolithically fixed in advance when the mold pad 12 for thickness build-up is molded. On the mold pad 12 for thickness build-up, the lower part of the fringe is made thinner to form a flexible deformed part 16. When the core material 11 and a skin material 13 are integrally press-molded, as the flexible deformed part 16 is formed on the fringe of the mold pad 12 for thickness build-up, the flexible deformed part 16 is easily bent and the appearance of the periphery part of the mold part 12 for thickness build-up is improved. |
