Title: ESTERS OF CARBOXY-CONTAINING INTERPOLYMERS An ester of a carboxy-containing interpolymer is disclosed, said interpolymer having an RSV of from about 0.05 to about 2. The esterified polymer will include at least an ester group (A) which is a carboxylic ester group having at least about 8 aliphatic carbon atoms in the ester group with the proviso that if the ester group (A) contains less than 28 carbon atoms, the interpolymer ester will include an ester group which is a carboxylic ester group having an ester group of the formula RO(CHCH2O)Y(CH2CH2O)Zwherein R is a hydrocarbyl group of about 1 to about 50 carbon atoms, R' is a hydrocarbyl group of about 1 to about 50 carbon atoms, y is a number in the range of zero to about 50 and z is a number in the range of zero to about 50 with the proviso that both y and z cannot be zero. The interpolymer may include an ester group (C) which is a carboxylic ester group having no more than 7 aliphatic carbon atoms in the ester group. Crude oil, lubricating oil ad fuel compositions and additive concentrates containing such ester are disclosed.
