PURPOSE:To obtain the title compsn. with excellent impact resistance by incorporating at least are compd. selected from polyfunctional isocyanate, oxazoline and epoxy compd. in a mixture of a polyarylene sulfide resin and a specified polyorganosiloxane rubber and reacting them with each other. CONSTITUTION:Each specified amt. of one or more compd. selected from polyfunctional isocyanate compd., polyfunctional oxazoline compd. and polyfunctional epoxy compd. are incorporated into a mixture of a polyarylene sulfide resin, a polyorganosiloxane rubber with a mean particle diameter of 0.1-0.5mum and a degree of swelling by toluene immersion of 3-50, obtd. by copolymerizing 0.1-20wt.% siloxane compd. of the formula (wherein R is a 1-3C alkyl or a phenyl; R' is a 1-2C alkyl; n is 0-2; p is 1-6), a monomer providing a linear organosiloxane (e.g. octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane) and a monomer providing a crosslinking component (e.g. tetraethoxysilane), and a filler used if necessary (e.g. glass fiber) and reacted therewith. |
