PURPOSE:To uniformly move the moving-method grains by providing a flow straightening body for moving-bed grains with a fixed apex angle at the upper and lower parts and having an almost rhombic section practically on the center line of the moving bed in the vicinity of the boundary between the moving bed and hopper part. CONSTITUTION:Grains are continuously supplied to the moving bed 4 and brought into countercurrent or cocurrent contact with a fluid, and various reactions are carried in out in the moving bed 4. The hopper part 1 for discharging the grains is also provided. The rhombic flow straightening body 3 with an apex angle of (90-theta)X2+ or -5 deg. (theta is the angle of the inclined hopper part to the horizontal direction and is smaller than 90 deg.) at the upper and lower parts is provided in the bed 4 practically on the center line of the bed 4 in the vicinity of the boundary between the bed 4 and hopper par 1 as the means for preventing the formation of an immobilized region or as the means for minimizing the formation of the region. As a result, the moving pattern of the moving- bed grains is practically uniformized, and the reaction efficiency in various reaction systems is significantly improved. |
