<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a fine and uniform paint spray by forming a paint accepting chamber by a bell wall and a cover plate and passing paint as plural uniform streams to the conical surface of a bell through the slots on the outer line of the cover plate from the chamber by centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION: The bell 11 rotating around an axial line 15 at a high speed is internally provided with nearly the conical surface. The round cover plate 12 is coaxially and freely removably mounted at the front part of the bell 11 by screws 13. Further, the paint accepting chamber 36 is formed by the bell 11 wall and the cover plate 12. The cover plate 12 is provided with the outer line forming a rim 27 in contact with the front part of the bell. The rim 27 is provided with the plural formed uniform radial slots 28 apart circumferential spaced intervals. The paint is passed as the plural uniform streams to the conical surface of the bell 11 through the slots 28 from the chamber 36 by centrifugal force. The paint changes to a continuous and uniform sheet when the paint flows to the radial edge 32 along the internal conical surface described above.</p> |
