PURPOSE:To obtain the title superconductor with perovskite-type crystal structure, free from expensive rare earth elements, highly toxic elements, etc., having high critical temperature by replacing part of the Pb in a BaPbO3-based oxide superconductor with a specific group IIIb element. CONSTITUTION:The objective oxide superconductor having perovskite-type crystal structure of the formula (0<X<1; 0<Y<1; 0<=delta<0.5; A is one of group IIIb elements including Al, Ga, In and Tl). The production process is as follows: raw materials such as BaO, Pb3O4 and Ga2O3 are weighed so as to result in the composition of the formula followed by mixing. The mixture is then heated in air to carry out reaction. The resulting product is ground, formed, and heat- treated in an oxygen gas stream, thus obtaining the objective oxide superconductor. The thin film production using it can be accomplished through e.g. screen printing, sputtering, plasma spraying. |
