<p>PURPOSE:To form a no signal section of a same length as another magnetic tape to one magnetic tape at the recording side by switching the state into a music selecting state and a recording standby state to 1st and 2nd tape recorders after reversing the tape based on an output signal of a no signal section detection circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a no signal section for a prescribed time is detected by a no signal detection circuit 5 in the dubbing state, a switching signal is outputted to operation switching circuits 7,8 of 1st and 2nd tape recorders from a control circuit 10 and an H level signal is outputted to a muting signal output terminal 11. With the switching signal applied to the operation switching circuits 7,8, the 1st tape recorder is in the music selection state, the position of the tape with the next music recorded thereon is retrieved, the 2nd tape recorder is switched for the reverse reproduction and the tape is driven reversely at a constant speed for a prescribed time. The operation above is implemented, resulting that a no signal section for a prescribed time is formed onto the 2nd magnetic tape independently of the length of a no signal section for a long time existing on the 1st magnetic tape.</p> |
