PREVENTION OF STRUNG CABLE AGAINST AVES COMING FLYING

PURPOSE:To prevent Aves from coming flying to the cable upwards in the arbitrary position in the longitudinal direction of a strung cable by stringing a filamentary body thinner than the cable with a specified interval kept along the cable. CONSTITUTION:An insulator 2 for a cable (a) provided to a telegraph pole 1 has a hook 2a on its top and a string (b) is wound around and fastened. By adjusting the winding volume the looseness of the string (b) is adjusted. A clamp 3 is provided at a specified interval in the longitudinal direction between the string (b) and the cable (a). This clamp 3 is composed of a hook 4 to support the string (b) and a clamp section 5 to be fitted to the hook 4 and the cable (a). The hook 4 supports the string (b) inserted from an underside notch 4a, while the clamp 5 is fitted to the cable (a) by hooking one of the pieces 5a to the other piece 5b to be in the condition where the cable (a) is clamped by both pieces 5a and 5b. With this clamp 3 the string (b) is kept in its whole length against the cable (a) at the intervals of 5 to 15cm.
