A burglar-proof storage system, designed to be used in particular as a cellar. A non-warping PVC or similar container (1) is embedded into an armoured concrete trench (2), the whole structure being buried underground (100). The container (1) can accommodate a plurality of cases (14), designed to contain, in particular, bottles or other articles, whereby said cases are arranged so that they may be removed by sliding from the container (1). Air vents (11 and 12) are provided as well as an absorbing layer (13) whose function is to adjust the hygrometric degree inside the container. The sliding removal means, the heat and humidity-resistant insulation, the ventilation, the lack of vibration and the like lend this system all the qualities of a fine cellar, and provided it is equipped with an armoured door, it constitutes a burglar-proof structure. The invention applies to the storage of goods at relatively constant temperature and hygrometric degree.
