<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the effect of a flyback pulse, by extracting a pilot signal of adjacent tracks of a main scanning track, comparing the reproducing level of the extracted pilot signal relatively and obtaining a tracking error. CONSTITUTION:A video signal from a terminal 11 is inputted to an LPF12, a luminance signal component is separated, and a luminance signal is applied to an FM modulation circuit 13 and the luminance signal is superimposed on the FM-modulated luminance signal via a color signal processing circuit 14. A horizontal synchronizing signal is extracted from the video signal at a horizontal synchronizing separation circuit 19, inputted at PLL circuits 20-22, a reference signal representing the phase inverting position of the pilot signal of the main scanning track from a gate circuit 25 is outputted and superimposed on the luminance signal. Further, the pilot signal is extracted at a gate circuit 28 and an LPF30, the luminance signal is synthesized with the color signal and the pilot signal and the result is recorded on a rotary head 17. At the reproduction, the pilot signal of adjacent tracks of the main scanning track is extracted, the reproducing level of the extracted signal is compared relatively and the tracking error is obtained.</p> |
