1. Multiplex glazing panel (I) for vehicle windows comprises at least 2 panes of glass with each pair of panes sepd. by a sealing spacer which encloses the whole of the space between the panes. The spacer comprises a first element (22) in contact with the two adjacent panes and with the space between, which is made of flexible, elastic material and provides a moisture barrier for the space, and a second element (26) in contact with both panes, which consists at least partly of an adhesive material (II) with modulus of elasticity above 1.4 MPa. - 2. (I) is produced by placing (22) on one of the panes so as to form a continuous strip all round and near the edge, pressing the other pane on the strip until the required spacing is obtd., then applying the adhesive (26) in contact with the two panes round at least part of the element (22) so as to form a strong adhesive bond. |
