<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an automatic laminator capable of minimizing the cutting time of a film web part without interrupting lamination work by providing a stage for transferring a blank circuit board in cooperating relation to a web supply system, a stage for tacking the preceding end of the web continued from a reel to the front end part of the circuit board and a stage for holding the circuit board to an immobile state between tacking work and the start of lamination work and starting the lamination of the web to the circuit board at the same position as a temporary bonding position. CONSTITUTION: In a first stage for operating a laminator 30, tacking/cutting devices 36, 38 are simultaneously converged to the circuit board 40 within a plane 100 from opposite directions and the preceding ends of film webs 84, 86 are pressed to the front end of the circuit board to be temporarily bonded thereto. Next, in a second stage, the devices 36, 38 are separated and, during a period when the circuit board 40 is set to an immobile state, lamination rolls 32, 34 are simultaneously converged to the circuit board from opposite directions and the temporarily bonded preceding ends of the films 84, 86 are pressed to the circuit board at the same place as a tacking place. Next, the circuit board 40 is sent forwardly so as to laminate the web to the surfaces of the lamination rolls. By this constitution, efficient lamination work can be performed in a state non-dangerous in tacking cutting.</p> |
