Storage element of generally parallelepipedal shape, having two lateral panels 5, 6, the top panel 3 and a bottom panel 4, a front panel 1 forming a lid and a back panel 2, the said panels being foldable, characterised: - in that the front panel 1 has swivel pins 10, 11 on each side at one end; - in that the top panel 3 comprises, over a proportion of its sides, two slide rails 31, 32 intended to receive at their end a swivel pin 10, 11 of the front panel 1, and thus to allow the pivoting of the said front panel 1 and its retraction on the top panel 3; - in that the back panel 2 also has two swivel pins 21, 22 placed at one end and intended to fit into housings 27, 28 provided for this purpose on the two lateral panels 5, 6, - and in that the lateral panels 5, 6, the top panel 3 and the bottom panel 4 are articulated with each other. <IMAGE>
