Device for setting up, with the same equipment, either a tent shelter or an emergency sail on a boat. The invention relates to a device making it possible for a boat to make shore using an emergency sail, in the event of a breakdown of the motor, and with the same equipment to erect a tent shelter. It consists of 3 tubes 1 of sufficient diameter to contain the ropes, stays, halyards, pulleys and sails These three tubes can moveover be used for tensioning a canvas (pulse sheet) 7 which is used for night-time, rain and sun protection.
