PURPOSE:To learn the home position accurately even in a system having large hysteresis by performing learning operation of an actuator finally from a standardized direction, independent of the initial value of a potentiometer. CONSTITUTION:When a step motor is operated so that the output from a potentiometer equals to a learning reference value Q(Q=3, for example), it is determined previously whether an actuator is operated forwardly or reversely at first. For example, the step motor is rotated reversely until the output P from the potentiometer once drops below 2.8V. Thereafter, the step motor is rotated forwardly. By such arrangement, an identical position can be learned as a home position at all times even if the hysteresis is large. |
