A new antipollution exhaust chamber and a new design of this product to enable it to ensure an antipollution effect at a lower cost. The chamber comprises a body 1 made of composite element which will be closed by composite panels 2, 8. Passing through the entry panel 2 are two bolted shafts 3 which will enable the internal reactor 4 to be secured to the body of the chamber. This reactor 4 is closed laterally by two grids 5 and 7 and comprises within it permeable walls 6 which separate the various treatment zones. The intrinsic performance of the materials employed will make it possible to treat the burnt gases by making use of spontaneous chemical reactions in which, for example, basic solutions [K<+>, OH<->; Ca<2+>, (OH<->)2] will be involved. <IMAGE>
